Hmm, I'm not convinced. Wouldn't it be better to leak a default route from the inet.0 table to the VPN-A.inet.0 table instead? That way the hosts at Site 1 can access the Internet without having to configure a bunch of static routes.

Hold on, I'm not sure about that. Shouldn't we also configure a static route for the 203.0.113.1/32 prefix? That's the gateway for the Internet, right?

I'm not sure about option C though. Do we really need to configure a RIB group on PE-1 to leak a default route?

I think options A and D are correct. We need to configure a static route for the 10.1.2.0/24 prefix in the main routing instance and also leak that prefix from the VPN-A.inet.0 table to the inet.0 table.

I agree, we definitely need to configure a static route for the 10.1.2.0/24 prefix.

I agree with Clarinda. Option A seems like the right choice for providing Internet access for the hosts at Site 1.

I'm not sure about option C and D. Can someone explain why we need to configure a RIB group for leaking routes?

I agree with you, Sylvia. Option B also seems correct as we need a static route for the 203.0.113.1/32 prefix.
