Question #: 70
Topic #: 2
[All CCSP Questions]

Which phase of the cloud data lifecycle would be the MOST appropriate for the use of DLP technologies to protect the data?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

The more systems that be included in the baseline, the more cost-effective and scalable the baseline is. The baseline does not deal with breaches or version control; those are the provinces of the security office and CMB, respectively. Regulatory compliance might (and usually will) go beyond the baseline and involve systems, processes, and personnel that are not subject to the baseline.

Definitely 'Store'! That's when the data is at its most vulnerable and needs the most protection.

Hmm, DLP technologies are all about protecting sensitive data, so I'd say 'Store' is the most appropriate phase for that.

I'm not sure, but I think DLP technologies are more effective during the 'Use' phase to prevent unauthorized access.

I agree with Laticia. DLP technologies are typically used to protect data when it is being used.
