Actual exam question for IBM's C9510-401 exam
Question #: 67
Topic #: 6
[All C9510-401 Questions]

A system administrator needs to set a new Liberty profile environment to support an application.

What should the administrator do to enable this environment for high availability and scalability of the application?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

Remember that coordinator election occurs whenever the view changes. Electing a new coordinator uses a lot of resources because this process causes increased network traffic and CPU consumption. Specifying a preferred coordinator server, whenever practical, helps eliminate the need to make frequent coordinator changes.

I think the answer is B. Defining multiple servers in a cluster under one collective controller seems like the best way to achieve high availability and scalability.

I'm not sure, but I think defining multiple server members in multiple collective controllers could also work for high availability and scalability.

I agree with Willow. It makes sense to have multiple servers in a cluster to ensure the application can handle high loads and be highly available.
