Selling unused time slices? I wonder if they had to deal with any 'cloud' puns back in the day. 'Putting your computing power in the cloud,' or something like that.
Asteroid tracking, huh? That's an interesting one, but I don't think that's the earliest implementation of cloud computing. I'm going to play it safe and go with the 'selling unused time slice' option.
LAN parties and cyber cafes? Really? That seems more like personal computing than cloud computing to me. I'm going to have to go with option D on this one.
I'm pretty sure the answer is B - indexing large datasets across universities. That sounds like the kind of early cloud computing use case that would make sense to me.
