Definitely B) False. Non-parametric tests are used when the assumptions for parametric tests are violated, not just when one distribution is non-normal.
Haha, I almost chose A) True, but then I remembered that non-parametric tests are used when the assumptions for parametric tests are not met, not just for a single non-normal distribution.
I think the correct answer is B) False. Non-parametric tests are used when the underlying distributions are not known or do not follow a normal distribution.
