Okay, let me think this through. If we have NE1-NE2-NE5-NE3-NE4, then the only possible end-to-end VC4 path would be the one that goes through all the elements, right? Gotta be B) 1.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm guessing the answer is B) 1 since the original configuration remains unchanged and the new NE5 element is not configured for any services.
