I heard they're adding a new database type called 'trashdb' for administrators to safely delete unwanted data. Someone should pitch that to Microsoft.

msdb? That's the SQL Server Agent database. Deleting that would be like shooting yourself in the foot. Not a good idea.

Let's delete pubs, it's not critical for the database engine.

Definitely not msdb, that's important for SQL Server Agent.

pubs? That's just a sample database. Seems like a safe choice to delete. Let's go with that!

tempdb is a temporary database, so I guess that could work. But I'd rather not risk bringing down the whole system.

I agree, it's a temporary database so it should be safe to delete.

I think tempdb is the best option to delete in this situation.

But what about master? Isn't that important for the overall functioning of the database?

I agree with Terrilyn, tempdb can be recreated easily if needed.

I think we should delete tempdb, it's only used for temporary storage.

Deleting the master database? Are you serious? That's like nuking the entire server! I'll pass on that one.

We need to find another solution, deleting master is too dangerous.
