Wait, DHCP can't allocate the operating system, can it? I'd love to see that - boot up your computer and BAM, it's running Windows 98 now!

D, of course! DHCP is all about handing out IP addresses automatically. Who needs to manually configure that these days?

I'm going with A. The DNS server address is essential for internet connectivity, so DHCP must handle that. The other options just don't seem right.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure C is the right answer. The gateway address is crucial, and DHCP handles that, right? Not so sure about the others.

I'm not sure about that. I think DHCP can also allocate IP addresses, so the answer might be D) IP address.

Definitely D! The IP address is the main thing DHCP assigns. Can't believe anyone would think the OS or DNS server would be DHCP-allocated.
