Option B is a bit of a stretch. The device allocator doesn't just assign devices willy-nilly, there are policies and security measures involved.

Ha! 'Exchanging numbers with processors' - I guess the exam writer was aiming for a bit of humor there. But option D doesn't seem quite right.

I'm not sure about option D - I don't think all I/O devices use buffers to communicate with processors in modern OSes. That seems a bit oversimplified.

Hmm, option C seems to be the most accurate description of device management. Virtualizing physical devices into logical ones is a key aspect of modern OS design.

I'm not sure about option A. I think option C might also be correct as it talks about virtualizing a physical device into multiple logical devices.

I agree with France. Option A seems to be the most relevant to device management in the operating system.

I think option A is correct because it mentions completing I/O requests made by users.
