D sounds like the work of a prankster. 'The NMS can't notify by email? Come on, that's just silly.

I'm going with C. Seems like the most straightforward and logical answer. Plus, it's the only one that mentions alarms being generated, which is kind of the whole point of the NMS.

A is too good to be true. The NMS wouldn't be much use if it couldn't directly display alarm information, right?

I agree, without that function, the NMS wouldn't be very helpful at all.

I think A is definitely not true. The NMS has to be able to display alarm information directly.

B is clearly wrong. The performance management function absolutely allows the NMS to collect performance data statistics.

Option D sounds interesting, but I'm not sure about the part where the NMS can't notify the preset contact through email. That seems a bit odd.

I think it's important for the NMS to have multiple ways to notify in case one method fails.

I think option C is correct. The NMS does preset default thresholds for performance counters, and if they're exceeded, an alarm is generated.

Yes, that's right. If a counter exceeds the threshold, an alarm is generated.

I agree with Tuyet, because during performance management, default thresholds are set for key performance counters.
