Geomagnetic sensor, all the way. Unless the cars are made of cardboard, in which case the camera might be a better bet.

Ultrasound, hands down. It's the only way to go for an outdoor parking detector. Infrared? Psh, that's so 90s.

Definitely the camera. I mean, how else are you gonna detect cars in the parking lot? Infrared and ultrasound just don't cut it.
