As an HR professional, I've got to go with Option B. Anything that keeps costs down and meets the legal requirements is a win in my book. Although, the thought of a $7 per participant fee is making my wallet cringe a little.

I agree, keeping costs down is always a priority. Plus, it's a legal requirement under ERISA to provide plan information.

Option B sounds like the best choice. It's important to provide plan information to participants without any additional cost.

Hold on, are we sure ERISA doesn't require us to provide the information monthly? Option D seems to cover all the bases, though I'm not keen on the no-cost part.

Haha, good luck getting any plan information for free these days! Option B is the way to go, though I'm curious how many pages are in a 'summary' plan description.

But A makes sense because it mentions a cost limit for providing the plan information.

Option B sounds like the most straightforward and cost-effective way to provide participants with the required plan information. I doubt my boss would appreciate the additional costs of options A or C.
