As a physician, I'd want the most secure option possible. But let's be real, my staff can barely work the fax machine. Token-based auth is probably the way to go if I want to keep my blood pressure down.

Token-based authentication seems like the way to go here. It's more secure than just a login ID and password, but not as complicated as some of the other choices. Plus, it's easy to implement and maintain.

I disagree, I think biometrics-based authentication would provide better security for electronic transactions.

PKI-based authentication is a bit complex for a small office. Digital certificates could work, but they might be a hassle to manage. I'd go with a simpler option like token-based auth.

Biometrics could be a good fit, but it might be overkill for a small office. I'd probably recommend token-based authentication as a more practical solution.

I think for a small physician's office, login ID with password would be sufficient.

Login ID with password is the most basic authentication method, but it's not the most secure option for a small office like this. Biometrics or token-based authentication would be better choices.
