Ah, the joys of container management. Option C is the way to go, but I can't help but wonder if there's a secret 'container whisperer' mode that could do this for us.

Haha, I bet the DevOps team is wishing they had a magic wand to just 'poof' the patch into the containers. Option C is the way to go, but I'm sure they're hoping for an easier solution.

Option C) Update the application code or apply a patch, build a new image, and redeploy it.

Option B is tempting, but I'm not sure I trust Google to handle this for us. I'd rather take matters into my own hands.

Option D sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if that's the best solution for a critical security patch. I'd prefer to have more control over the update process.

I think option C is the way to go. Updating the code and rebuilding the image is the most reliable way to ensure the patch is applied correctly.

B) Verify that auto upgrade is enabled; if so, Google will upgrade the nodes in a GKE cluster.

I prefer option C, updating the application code and redeploying it seems like a safer approach.

I agree with Isidra, it's the most efficient way to update the running containers.
