I think the answer is A because pressing Ctrl+A selects all text, so it makes sense that it would stop the application.

The letter 'z' seems a bit too obvious, don't you think? I bet the exam writers are trying to trick us. But Ctrl + Z is the classic 'stop' command, so that's my pick.
