Haha, you guys are really overthinking this, aren't you? It's clearly option A. The output says the traffic exceeded the maximum packets per second, so the packet was dropped. Easy peasy!
You know, I was thinking the same thing. But then I realized, if the original traffic exceeded the maximum bandwidth of the outgoing interface, wouldn't it also exceed the traffic shaper's bandwidth? So I'm going with option D.
I agree, this is a tough question. The output doesn't explicitly state that the packet was dropped, so I'm not convinced that's the right answer. Option D seems plausible, but I'd like some more information to be certain.
Hmm, this is a tricky one. The packet debug output doesn't seem to give us a clear indication of what's happening. I'm leaning towards option C, but I'm not completely sure.
