SAML IDP? Now we're talking techie stuff! I bet I could set that up with my eyes closed. Or maybe I'd just close my eyes and hope for the best. *chuckles*

Ah, the good old Portal auth! Couldn't we just have a big flashing 'Click here to authenticate' button? That's how I like to do it. *winks*

I'm not sure Kerberos-based authentication would work in this scenario, since that's typically for domain-joined devices. Radius accounting could be an option, but I'm leaning towards Portal authentication.

That could also be a good option for user identity discovery.

Hmm, seems like we need a way to authenticate users without domain-based credentials. I think Portal authentication might be the way to go here.

I believe Kerberos-based authentication could also be a method used by Fortiauthenticator.

I think Fortiauthenticator can use Syslog messaging or SAML IDP for user identity discovery.
