I'm not sure about option A. The preference value doesn't necessarily determine the amount of email received. The MTAs may handle load balancing differently.
Option B is correct. The primary MTA for the example.com domain is mx.hosted.com, as indicated by its lower preference value of 10 compared to mx.example.com's preference of 20.
