I bet the memory utilization is so high because the LTM device is playing Tetris during its downtime. Gotta keep those skills sharp, you know?

You guys are overthinking this. The answer is clearly A) Idle timeout. Just set a shorter timeout and those stale connections will be cleaned up in no time!

Nah, I'm going with D) Multipath TCP. That way, the connections can be distributed across multiple paths, reducing the memory load on the LTM.

I'm not so sure about that. Wouldn't C) Slow Start be a better option? It could help reduce the number of connections by gradually increasing the connection rate.

I'm not sure, but I think Reset on timeout could also be a good option to consider.

I agree with Gearldine, setting an idle timeout can help clear stale TCP connections and reduce memory utilization.

Hmm, I think the answer is B) Reset on timeout. This option will forcefully close stale TCP connections, which should help reduce memory utilization on the LTM device.
