ifconfig? Hmm, let me guess - you're the kind of person who uses DHCP to configure their home router. C'mon, let's get serious here.

Ping? Really? That's like trying to fix a flat tire with a hammer. Not the right tool for the job, my friend.

Wow, this is a no-brainer. If the HTTP monitor is down, you need to use tcpdump to capture the traffic and see what's going on. C) is the only logical choice here.

ifconfig? What does that have to do with an HTTP monitor? I'm pretty sure the answer is C) tcpdump. That's the tool I'd use to troubleshoot this kind of problem.

Ping? Really? That's not going to help with an HTTP monitor. We need to look at the actual HTTP traffic, so I'm going with C) tcpdump.

I agree, tcpdump is the way to go to analyze the HTTP traffic.

Hmm, I think tcpdump would be the best tool to identify the issue with the HTTP monitor. It can capture and analyze the network traffic to see if the expected response is being received.

I think ping could also be useful to check connectivity, but tcpdump would provide more detailed information.
