Option D is tempting, but who cares about encrypting session cookies these days? Everyone knows those are worthless anyway. I'll go with Option C, it's the most elegant solution.
I think Option B is the correct answer. He's only encrypting the response parameters, which makes sense for sensitive data. You don't need to encrypt the whole channel if you don't have to.
Looks like Oliver is trying to secure the entire communication channel between the client and server. Not a bad idea, but a bit overkill for just transferring some data.
