I hope the global traffic manager in option A comes with a complimentary crystal ball to predict traffic patterns. Otherwise, it's just a fancy paperweight.

But wouldn't it be simpler to just go with option B?

Option A sounds like the best choice for redundancy.

D? Really? DNS round robin? That's like putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg. Might as well just flip a coin to decide which PVWA to use.

Hmm, C could be a good compromise between redundancy and simplicity. As long as the active/standby switchover is fast enough, that might be the way to go.

User 3: Yeah, as long as the switchover is quick, it seems like a solid choice.

User 2: Agreed, having two PVWAs in active/standby mode could provide the best of both worlds.

B is the simplest solution, but a single point of failure doesn't seem very redundant. Gotta weigh the pros and cons here.

Option A sounds promising, but I'm not sure how much of a performance boost a global traffic manager would provide. Seems like overkill for just two data centers.

I'm not sure, but deploying one PVWA only seems like the simplest option.

But wouldn't deploying two PVWAs behind a global traffic manager also provide redundancy and faster access?

I see both points, but I think deploying one PVWA only might be simpler and still provide adequate access to the PVWA.

I disagree, I believe deploying two PVWAs in an active/standby mode would provide the most redundancy in case of failure.
