Which of the following would protect data in transit?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

A faulty PSU needs replacement, and the management team wants a solution to prevent future downtime.

Solution:Implementredundancy(Option D):

Redundant power supplies ensure that if one fails, the other takes over seamlessly.

Separate circuits, load balancing, and server monitoring are important but do not directly prevent PSU failures.

What, no option for carrier pigeons to transport my data? That's the most secure way I know!

SSL/TLS is the answer, no doubt about it. The other options are more for data at rest, not in transit.

I'm going to have to go with SSL/TLS on this one. It's the only option that actually encrypts the data as it's being transmitted.

Hmm, SHA-512 and MD5 are hashing algorithms, not encryption protocols. 3DES is outdated, so SSL/TLS is the way to go.

I'm not sure, but I think MD5 is used for hashing, not protecting data in transit.
