This question is a real 'click-bait'! Get it? 'Click' to reveal the answer? Anyway, I agree with Edwin - the correct answer is C. The code is clearly setting up a click event listener to display the 'Welcome' message.

I'm going with C. When you click the alert a welcome message will appear. It's a classic 'click to reveal' scenario. Although, if I were the developer, I'd probably use a more descriptive variable name than 'x'.
