I'm leaning towards corporate WAN and endpoints as the two correct answers. Those are classic use cases for an IPS, protecting the internal network and end-user devices. Email could also be a possibility, but I'm not as confident about that one.
Yeah, the cloud one is a bit of a curveball. Then again, a lot of companies are moving their infrastructure to the cloud these days, so maybe it's a newer capability of Next Gen IPS. I'm not sure.
I agree, the cloud and voicemail options seem a bit odd. I'd say the corporate WAN and endpoints are more likely candidates for Next Gen IPS protection.
Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm not sure if the Next Gen IPS would protect cloud environments or voicemail systems. Those seem a bit out of scope for a typical network-based IPS.
