A) and E) are definitely the way to go. The other options sound like they were written by someone who's never actually worked on a Cisco switch. I bet they're the same person who thought 'user-friendly' was an oxymoron.
Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'd go with A) and E) too. Although, I wonder if the Cisco engineers have a secret handshake that's required for the EPLD upgrade process. Gotta keep those network techs on their toes, you know!
I'm not sure about B) - upgrading all the modules at the same time seems like overkill. C) seems useful for verifying the impact, though. And D) is just plain weird, why would we only be able to upgrade to the latest version?
A) and E) sound about right. I've heard that EPLD upgrades can be done without replacing the hardware, and that you don't even need to power down the module. The other options seem a bit questionable.
