If I had a nickel for every time I saw 'Gigabit Ethernet Switch' as an option on a Cisco exam, I'd be a rich person. But in this case, it does seem like a reasonable choice for the remote branch.

I'm not sure about HX220c, I think UCS B200 could also be a good option for the remote branch cluster.

I agree with Heike, those two devices are the best fit for the design requirements.

I think we should use HX240c and HX220c for the remote branch cluster.

Hmm, the HX240c might be overkill for a remote branch, especially since the requirement mentions using one rack unit of space. The HX220c seems like the better choice here.

I'm not sure the Fabric Interconnect 6300 would be appropriate for the remote branch, as that's typically used in the main data center. I think the Gigabit Ethernet Switch would be a better fit for the edge node.

The remote branch cluster should use the HX220c nodes, as they are specifically designed for edge deployments and meet the requirement of using one rack unit of space.
