Your manager is undertaking a strategic review of XYZ's activities and has asked you to explain how a Force Field analysis would assist in the review process.
Which of the following statements would bemostappropriate?
I bet the manager is already dreading the amount of 'force' they'll encounter during this strategic review. Might as well call it the 'Force Awakens' analysis.
Option D is also relevant, as understanding the forces that may create barriers and resistance to change is important for the strategic review. But C is the most comprehensive answer.
Option C is definitely the most comprehensive answer. It provides a framework for identifying all the forces for and against the proposed changes within XYZ.
I'm not sure why anyone would choose option B. Identifying senior managers to drive changes is not the purpose of a Force Field analysis. We need to look at the broader forces at play, not just the individuals.
I agree with Gilberto. Option C is the most appropriate as it aligns with the purpose of a Force Field analysis - to understand the dynamics that influence change within an organization.
Option C is the best choice here. A Force Field analysis provides a framework to identify the forces driving and restraining change, which is exactly what the manager needs for the strategic review.
