I think the main disadvantages are the privacy, security, and ethical concerns. Those are the big ones that organizations need to address when implementing data mining strategies. Financial crime is also a risk, but not as directly tied to the data mining process itself.
Wow, data mining is a treasure trove of potential problems! I'm just glad I don't have to worry about any manufacturing issues. That's the least of my worries when it comes to this topic.
