During a formal disciplinary process being carried out within a business organisation, at what stage in the process should the employee under investigation receive a formal verbal warning?
I see both points, but I think receiving a formal verbal warning at the beginning of the disciplinary process (option D) sets a clear expectation from the start.
I disagree, I believe the employee should receive a formal verbal warning between an informal warning and written warning (option A). It gives them a chance to correct their behavior before it gets more serious.
I think the employee should receive a formal verbal warning following the first written warning letter (option C). It shows that the issue is escalating.
