Inspection points, huh? That sounds like a really handy feature. Being able to see what's going on under the hood can make troubleshooting a lot easier.
Wait, 'fw monitor' is available for 64-bit OSes? Awesome, that means I can use it on my brand new workstation. 'tcpdump' is great, but having a tool that's compatible with the latest hardware is a big plus.
Ooh, being able to use 'fw monitor' from the CLI of the Management Server to collect data from multiple gateways? That's really convenient, especially for large environments.
I'm pretty sure 'fw monitor' gives you Layer 2 visibility, which 'tcpdump' can't. That's a huge advantage for certain types of network troubleshooting.
