To accelerate the rate of connection establishment, SecureXL groups all connection that match a particular service and whose sole differentiating element is the source port. The type of grouping enables even the very first packets of a TCP handshake to be accelerated. The first packets of the first connection on the same service will be forwarded to the Firewall kernel which will then create a template of the connection. Which of the these is NOT a SecureXL template?

Hmm, I was thinking it might be D) NAT Template. Since NAT is a different process from connection acceleration, it doesn't seem like it would be part of the SecureXL templates.

I'm not sure, but I think C) Drop Template is also a possibility. It doesn't seem like something that would be used as a template for connection acceleration.

I agree with Marya, because SecureXL accelerates connection establishment, so a Deny Template wouldn't make sense.

I'm pretty sure the answer is C) Drop Template. SecureXL is all about accelerating connection establishment, so a Drop Template wouldn't really fit that purpose.
