Ah, the age-old debate: CPTED vs. NIST CSF. I wonder if the consultant also considered using a SWOT analysis and a PESTLE assessment.

I'm going with CPTED. Gotta love those catchy security acronyms. Next up, the consultant will recommend HVAC and BYOD policies.

Ha! BS 7799-3? What is this, a British crime novel? I don't think the IoT manufacturer is looking to hire Sherlock Holmes as their security consultant.

I disagree, CPTED is too focused on physical security. The consultant would have likely suggested ISO 17799 or NIST CSF, which cover a broader range of security best practices.

CPTED is the obvious choice here. Designing the campus environment to deter criminal behavior is exactly what the security consultant would have recommended.

I'm not sure about CPTED. I think the consultant might have also considered the NIST Cybersecurity Framework for securing the IoT devices.

I agree with Ivette. CPTED focuses on designing the physical environment to reduce opportunities for crime.
