D seems a bit too restrictive. The EVM is sandboxed, but I'm sure it can still interact with the blockchain node in meaningful ways. It's not completely isolated from the outside world.
Option C is interesting, but I'm not sure I agree. The EVM may be sandboxed, but that doesn't make it less powerful than the Bitcoin network. It's a different architecture with different strengths.
I think option B is the correct answer. The EVM is Turing-complete, which means it can perform any computation, including computationally intensive tasks. The direct access to the graphics card also supports this capability.
