Hmm, I'm leaning towards 940 nm as the answer. That's pretty deep in the infrared range, so I don't think it would produce any visible glow.

Agreed. The shorter wavelengths, like 650 nm and 750 nm, are probably going to be in the visible spectrum and produce a glow.

Okay, let's think this through. I'm guessing the longer wavelengths, like 850 nm and 940 nm, are more likely to be invisible to the human eye.
