Haha, good question! Maybe they wanted to avoid any confusion with the more popular us-east-1 region. Though I guess us-east-2 isn't exactly exotic either. Either way, we should probably just go with it and not overthink it too much.

You know, I'm kind of curious about why they're using the us-east-2 region specifically. Is there a reason for that, or is it just to keep things simple for the exam?
