Agreed, A and D are the way to go. Though I have to say, I'm a little disappointed they didn't include Carrier Pigeon as an option. That would have been a fun one to debate!
Haha, FTP as a notification endpoint? That's a good one! I can't imagine Amazon SNS supporting that. I'd say you two are on the right track with email and SMS.
I'm not too familiar with Amazon SNS, but from the options given, email and SMS seem like the most logical choices for notification endpoints. I'm a bit skeptical about the other options like CloudFront and FTP.
I'm leaning towards A and D as well. Those are the most common and widely-used notification channels. The other options just don't seem like a good fit for Amazon SNS.
Yeah, I agree with you, Sherron. Those two options seem to be the ones that Amazon SNS supports based on my understanding. I'm not sure about the other choices though.
Haha, can you imagine getting a notification through FTP? 'You've got mail... literally, it's a file!' Anyway, I think A and D are the safest bets here.
C) File Transfer Protocol is an interesting one. While it's not a typical notification method, I could see a use case for it, like sending a file notification through SNS. But I'm not sure it's one of the two correct answers.
I agree, A and D seem like the clear choices here. B) CloudFront distribution and E) Simple Network Management Protocol don't really fit the description of notification endpoints or clients for Amazon SNS.
Hmm, this is an interesting question. I think the obvious answers are A) Email and D) Short Message Service, as those are common notification methods. But I'm not sure about the other options - what do you all think?
