Wait, we're sending logs to CloudTrail? Is this a certification exam or a practical joke?

Merging the logs and using IAM Roles to control access? That's a creative approach, but it sounds a bit complicated.

Option D looks good - let the CloudWatch log agent handle the OS logs, and just configure the app logs to send off-machine.

Sending the logs to Kinesis and then into CloudSearch or Redshift is an elaborate solution. Might be overkill for just viewing the logs.

D) Using AWS CloudFormation, create a CloudWatch Logs LogGroup. Because the CloudWatch log agent automatically sends all operating system logs, you only have to configure the application logs for sending off-machine

Using CloudTrail for remote logging? That's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure it's the best fit for this use case.

Using CloudTrail for remote logging might not be the best fit for this scenario. It's better to use CloudWatch Logs for this purpose.

I'm not sure about option D. It seems like it might be more complicated to configure the application logs separately.

I agree with Daisy. CloudFormation and CloudWatch Logs Agent make sense for centralizing logs.

I think option A sounds like a good idea. CloudWatch Logs seems like the right tool for this.

That's a good point, but I still think having the flexibility to send events to Amazon Kinesis and insert them into Amazon CloudSearch or Redshift with option C could provide more analytic tools for our teams.

The CloudWatch Logs solution in option A seems like the most straightforward way to consolidate the logs. Sending the logs to a single LogGroup makes sense.

True, combining application and operating system logs in a single LogGroup would make it easier for both teams to access

Option D also seems like a good choice, as the CloudWatch log agent can automatically send operating system logs

Option A sounds good, we can use CloudWatch Logs to consolidate the logs in a single place

I disagree, I believe option D is more efficient as it automatically sends all operating system logs and only requires configuration for application logs.

I think option A is the best choice because it allows us to send both operating system and application logs to a single place using CloudWatch Logs Agent.
