I'm going with E) internal. Seems like the good old-fashioned 'think about what I already know' approach. Although, if I had a photographic memory, maybe A) external would be the way to go. Alas, my brain is more like a sieve these days.

I'm not sure, but I think it could also be D) generic, as the buyer may also consider general information about the product.

Hmm, I was going to say B) perceived, but I guess that's more about how the buyer perceives the information, not where they're getting it from. E) internal seems like the way to go.
