D is an interesting one, but I think C is the most accurate description of what a DDoS attack actually does. Well, at least it's better than trying to get admin passwords, that's for sure!

Yeah, trying to get admin passwords sounds like a whole different kind of attack.

Haha, A and B are just ridiculous options. Who would even think those are valid DDoS descriptions? C is the obvious answer.

But what about A) In order to get admin password? Could that also be a correct description?

I agree with Rickie, DDoS attacks do make the server unable to process legitimate requests.

I agree with Jessenia. C is the right choice here. The goal of a DDoS attack is to disrupt the availability of the target system, not to steal data or gain admin access.

No, those are different types of attacks. DDoS is focused on overwhelming the server with traffic.

Yes, that's right. It's all about causing disruption and denial of service.

C is definitely the correct answer. A DDoS attack is all about overwhelming the target server with illegitimate requests, making it unable to process legitimate ones.

D) If the target server has no vulnerabilities, the remote attack may still succeed.

That's right, a DDoS attack floods the server with so much traffic that it can't handle real requests.
