The second option looks promising, but I'm a bit confused about the ENV.ENVIRONMENT setting. Do we need to modify the .magento.env.yaml file directly, or is there a way to do this through the GUI?

Limiting the integration branches to two seems like a reasonable step, but I'm not sure if submitting a support ticket is the right approach. Shouldn't we be able to configure the upgrade through the Cloud GUI?
