Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. Doesn't option B seem like a pretty straightforward case of a diabetes-related problem where the code for diabetes wouldn't be sequenced first? I mean, if your insulin pump malfunctions, that's gotta be the main issue, right?

I'm not sure, but I think A) If the patient has hyperglycemia that is not responding to medication could also be a valid answer.

I agree with Avery, because secondary diabetes is a separate condition from type 2 diabetes.

I think the correct answer is C. If the patient is being treated for secondary diabetes, the code for the underlying condition causing the diabetes would be sequenced first, not the code for diabetes itself.
